CSAP Certified eformsign Makes a Significant Push into the Public Sector

  • 21 research institutes, including those involved in Economics and Humanities research adopted eformsign as their e-contract platform.
  • eformsign has proved its reliability by earning the prestigious CSAP (Cloud Security Assurance Program) certification, and it was a big factor in the institutes’ decision.

FORCS, Korea’s leading e-document solutions vendor has announced that 21 government-run research institutes have adopted eformsign as their e-contract service.

The government-run research institutes include those in Economics and Humanities research and were selected by the government to participate in a project that involves the digitalization of contract processes and simplification of administrative processes. As part of the project, eformsign was adopted as the e-contract platform.

The adoption of eformsign e-contract platform is expected to significantly contribute to reducing costs and increasing work efficiency by storing completed documents and utilizing various document data, as well as sending documents for signatures and signing contracts via email and KakaoTalk within the platform.

When handing applications, agreements, and contracts that require signatures or stamps in the electronic format, the most important aspect is information protection and security. By utilizing eformsign, which has been proven to be secure and reliable, public institutions can easily gain benefits such as increased productivity and cost efficiency as well as the elimination of loss or damage to paper documents.

Soo Han Lee, a stakeholder of this project stated, “The SaaS-based e-contract platform we adopted is in line with the government’s initiative to migrate IT systems to the Cloud. This project is also considered as a success case for ESG management and digital transformation using a commercially available cloud service for the implementation of paperless workplace in the public sector’s administrative environment.” Mr. Lee also added, ” In addition to this project fueling interest in the digital transformation of government-funded research organizations, there are high expectations for improving business processes and increasing efficiency in each organization.

Mi Kyung Park, CEO of FORCS, stated, “This project is very meaningful in that there are 21 research institutes achieving digital transformation with eformsign. We look forward to continuing to contribute to the expansion of ESG management in public institutions by practicing carbon neutrality through paperless technology. “
