Security

eformsign considers user data security as the first priority

Various documents such as contract, application, system report, and others containing crucial information of customers get stored in eformsign system.

Based on customer’s trust, we, eformsign service team are trying our best to meet the most complex and peculiar security standards.

eformsign is fully aware of a complete security needs of document process from the baseline of user’s sign up to document sending, receiving, and storing the data.

eformsign system has been delicately structured to meet those security needs and will continue to suffice these standards.

AES-256 bit encryption

Based on the data protection risk assessment, eformsign uses AES-256 bit encryption (256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard) technology for all data encryption process, which the technology is adopted by the U.S. government for protecting top-secret files. AES-256 is one of the most complex levels of encryption among algorithm.
eformsign system automatically encrypts the data or file into the block before writing and reading the data from the system. Also, it does not let any of the unencrypted data to be written on the system.

Secure data storage, Amazon S3

eformsign utilizes Amazon Cloud Platform for cloud service. All encrypted data gets stored in Amazon S3(Amazon Simple Storage Service). All of the user data gets automatically copied into three separate data center then stored. Each three data centers are physically and geographically separated so the data would be safe from any fire, flood, and other natural disasters. Each of the data centers are only accessible after 2-step verification and also gets surveils and leaves the history of all access.

Safe data transfer with TLS

In order to prevent any data modification or loss, eformsign implemented TLS (Transport Layer Security) cryptographic protocol. TLS is the standard security technology in setting the link between the web server and browser. This lets the transferred data to be enclosed and private so that no other third party can access the data transaction.

The document that can be archived for a long period, PDF/A

eformsign stores the document in standard PDF/A-1 format so all of the customer's documents can securely be archived and preserved. PDF/A is an ISO-standardized version of the PDF specialized for use in the archiving and long-term preservation of electronic documents. PDF/A-1 also has been accepted and implemented as a general format for permanent archiving at National Archives and Records Administration (NARA).
