Clicking the component displays a date selection window where you can select the desired date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2>Component Properties<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.eformsign.com\/en\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2020\/02\/datetime-component-properties.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13033\" width=\"250\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4>\u2460 ID<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Enters the ID of the Datetime component (e.g. the ID of the component for selecting the vacation start date can be named &#8216;vacationStartDate&#8217;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4>\u2461 Format<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Sets the format in which date is displayed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>yyyy: Year<\/li><li>MM: Month (must be in uppercase)<\/li><li>dd: Day<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><br>For example, if you want to display the date in the format of &#8216;2020-02-05&#8217;, then enter yyyy-MM-dd in the Format field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4>\u2462 Minimum Date\/Maximum Date<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Sets the range of dates that can be selected in the component by specifying the minimum and maximum dates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4>\u2463 Display Today for Empty Value<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Checking this option automatically enters the date (the date in which the document is opened) when the document is opened. This option is checked by default when you add a Datetime component. You can change the date by clicking the component.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4>\u2464 Allow Empty Value<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Checking this option allows you to clear the number displayed on the numeric component. In a Datetime component, once you select a date, you can change it to another date but cannot clear the date. Checking this option allows you to clear the date displayed on the Datetime component.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, if no date is selected in the Datetime component but the &#8216;Display Today for Empty Value&#8217; option is checked, then the date component is automatically filled in with the date in which the document is opened.
